Dr. rer. nat. Max Eickenscheidt
Dr. Max Eickenscheidt´s research interest is the personalization of biomedical engineering in the area of active implants.
He is pursuing three approaches:
1. Endogenous implants reaching the final functionality or shape during insertion in the target tissue.
2. Novel techniques to manufacture 3D implants for excellent biocompatibility.
3. Modular networks of highly integrated functional blocks in application-specific combinations.
