Arash Felekary

In 2014, I finished my Bachelors degree in physics at the University of Tehran (UT). Then as a Masters student, I studied physics at Sharif University of Technology (SUT) until 2017 with more focus on biophysical subjects. My Masters thesis was about investigating the effects of blood diseases and different drugs on the mechanical properties of red blood cells using optical tweezers. From 2018 to 2020, I was carrying out some projects on micro-manipulation with optical tweezers at SUT.

Since April 2021, I am a PhD student at the chair of Bio- and Nano-photonics. My current project focuses on investigating the Nano-structural basis for mechanical Fibroblast- Cardiomyocytes cross-talk using optical super-resolution microscopy, photonic force microscopy, and thermal noise tracking.
