Curriculum Vitae
Fabian Höflinger got his B.Sc. degree in automation engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Ravensburg. During his Bachelor's studies he worked at Junghans Feinwerktechnik where he developed components for telemetric systems. During his Master studies he developed inductive electronic components and completed his Master degree in Automation and Energy Systems at the University of Applied Sciences in Mannheim in 2007. From 2007 until 2010 Mr. Höflinger was employed as a development engineer.
Since April 2010 he has joined the laboratory for Electrical Instrumentation at the Department of Microsystems Engineering (IMTEK), University of Freiburg. In 2014 he finished his PhD on "Localization systems for determining the position of people and objects in indoor areas". Since 2014 he has been group leader and is building up a research group in the field of Indoor-Localization.
