IMTEK currently has 23 professors, over 300 research, teaching, and technical staff, and around 730 students. We are one of the world’s largest academic institutions in our field today, and this is reflected in our uniquely broad scope of research and courses.

 Our field of research is microsystems technology. This offers incredibly versatile and extremely exciting opportunities to develop innovations - more precisely, intelligent products that serve the good of society, help to preserve our nature and environment and make life healthier, safer, more comfortable and, not least, easier. With highly specialised staff and state-of-the-art equipment, we cover the entire spectrum of MEMS technology.
