Frederik Görlitz
After I obtained my BSc at Heidelberg University (GER), I received my PhD at Imperial College London (UK) under Prof. French. Then I moved to Berkeley (US) to get my hands wet with lattice-light sheet microscopy at the Advanced Bioimaging Centre (UC Berkeley/ Prof. Betzig). I am specialized in optical microscopy, especially super-resolution microscopy (STED, STORM, SIM), light sheet microscopy and fluorescence lifetime imaging (FLIM). Basically, everything which involves polishing mirrors, shooting lasers and turning screws.
