Daniel Kopp
PhD Candidate
Daniel Kopp studied microsystems engineering, majoring in Materials and MEMS processing, at the University of Freiburg. He completed his bachelor degree with the “characterization of the mechanical stress behavior of vertical Hall-sensors”. After a voluntary service at the company Micronas GmbH, he developed a novel optofluidic router based on liquid mirrors during his master thesis at the Gisela-and-Erwin-Sick chair of micro-optics. Currently he is working on the development of optofluidic systems and their actuation by electrowetting.
