Dr. Jochen Kieninger
Dr.-Ing. Jochen Kieninger studied Physics and Microsystems Engineering at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg. He graduated in 2003 with a degree in Microsystems Engineering.
He then worked at the Laboratory for Sensors under Prof. Gerald A. Urban as a research assistant and, since 2008, as a research group leader. From 2009 to 2010, Mr. Kieninger worked as a research assistant in the School of Soft Matter Research at the Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies (FRIAS) under Prof. Andreas Manz. From 2010, Mr. Kieninger was a research group leader at the Laboratory for Sensors and completed his doctorate in 2011 with the title “Dr.-Ing.”. In 2012, he was appointed Akademischer Rat, and since 2018, he is Akademischer Oberrat. In 2022, Mr. Kieninger moved to the Laboratory for Electrical Instrumentation and Embedded Systems.
Herr Kieninger is Fachstudienberater für Mikrosystemtechnik (academic student advisor).
