Felix Jünger
Felix Jünger studied Physics (together with Biology and Mechanical Engineering as secondary subjects) at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern and received his diploma in experimental physics in 2010. In 2011, he started working as a PhD student in the lab for Bio- and Nano-Photonics. In his thesis, he investigated cellular mechanics during phagocytosis by means of optical measurement technologies. After having obtained his PhD, he worked as a post-doc and now as group leader in the chair of Bio- and Nano-Photonics. His research interests include live cell microscopy, optical tweezers and particle tracking as well as microscopy with coherent light scattering (ROCS).
