Cristian Gohn-Kreuz
PhD student
Cristian Gohn-Kreuz studied physics at the University of Karlsruhe where he graduated in 2008 with a thesis about the numerical analysis of optical microresonators and their application to the detection of biomolecules. In the course of his studies he spent one year at the Heriot-Watt-University in Edinburgh where he received the "Master of Physics with Honours in Optoelectronics and Lasers".
Since July 2009 he is a PhD student at the Laboratory for Bio- and Nano-Photonics. He investigates non-linear concepts for improving the image quality in microscopy of strongly scattering samples.
