Khaled Seteiz studied chemistry at the Fakultät für Chemie und Pharmazie at the University of Freiburg. He graduated in 2018 in the Institute of Inorganic and Analytic Chemistry with his bachelor's degree. He completed his master's degree in 2021 with an external master‘s thesis at the Laboratory for MEMS applications (IMTEK) in the research group Electrochemical Energy Systems on activation of rayon based graphite felt electrodes for vanadium redox flow batteries. In June 2021, he started his Ph.D. at IMTEK in the research group Electrochemical Energy Systems on electrodes for CO2 electrolysis.
