Curriculum Vitae
From 2000 to 2006 Bernward Fleischhauer studied physics at the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany, and the University of Oregon at Eugene, USA. For his diploma thesis he joined the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE), Freiburg, Germany, with analyses on “Laser Fired Contacts” (LFC), a laser-based technique for cost-efficient processing of silicon solar cells.
Bernward Fleischhauer worked for 8 more months at ISE before he joined the Department of Microsystems Engineering (IMTEK) at the University of Freiburg as a doctoral student. There he worked on a new concept to control a hydrogen gas flow.
After a teaching assignment for the Master program “Master Online Photovoltaics” (MOPV) at the “Laboratory for Electrical Instrumentation” (EMP) at IMTEK in 2012 he now works as Program Manager for this “Master Online Photovoltaics” and as Project Manager for developments in the course of study in "Solar Energy Engineering".
